Maintenance Assistant

Eton College is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the boarding houses are functional, welcoming, and comfortable spaces for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive routine maintenance for approximately 5 boarding houses
- Keep records of works undertaken, logging and reporting faults
- Make assessments of work that needs to be carried out in the future
- Undertake periodic health and safety checks and risk assessments
- Provide general support to the houses, including moving furniture and helping with event setup and cleanup
- Previous maintenance experience is essential
- Demonstrable competence in carrying out general repairs and maintenance tasks
- A full clean UK driving licence
- A flexible and positive approach to work and a 'can do' attitude
