Expleo Engineering UK Limited has partnered with a major automotive manufacturer to find an exceptional Automotive Passive Safety Engineer.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for passive crash safety performance, including:

  • Safety performance planning
  • Test planning
  • Analysis of CAE and physical test results

They will also produce test analysis reports and have an understanding of vehicle passive safety design concepts.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject matter is essential, as well as experience in passive safety performance and knowledge of safety restraints systems, body engineering, or electrical architecture and systems.

This role demands high levels of analytical skill, attention to detail, and effective teamwork. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to interpret and execute Regulation and Consumer based passive safety crash tests.

A valid UK/European driving license is necessary for occasional travel within Europe.

Estimated annual salary range: £52,000 - £62,000 (dependent on experience).
