About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Support Worker to join our team at a Secondary School in Manchester. As a Classroom Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the children with their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
  • Delivering 1-2-1 sessions if needed

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen
