Senior Director - Engineering Consultancy

CBRE Project Management and Building Consultancy, a leading global provider of real estate project services, is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Engineering Consultancy business in Scotland.

The successful candidate will lead and grow a team of 10 Engineers, delivering a range of M&E Design and Asset Engineering projects, including:

  • Design of Commercial installations and fit outs to RIBA Stage 4
  • Technical Due Diligence
  • Dilapidations
  • M&E Audits
  • Condition Surveys
  • PPM/Life Cycle Costing

The Engineering Consultancy team is part of the wider CBRE PMBC team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, governance, and delivery excellence to the Engineering Consultancy team
  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Liaise with colleagues to determine and identify project opportunities
  • Grow the Engineering Consultancy business with both internal and external opportunities
  • Work with the financial director to ensure accurate divisional project forecasting and reporting
  • Promote and ensure the safe delivery of projects through the management of risk and competence
  • Recruit and retain talent for the present delivery and future growth of the Engineering Consultancy business

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years building services design experience in a consultancy environment
  • Previous design and surveying experience
  • Ideally, a relevant Building Services Engineering degree or equivalent, Chartered status desirable
  • Confident to meet, network, and socialise with potential and existing clients
