Spares Consultant Opportunity
Ford and Slater, one of the UK's largest DAF Truck dealerships with 16 locations spanning from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employs over 900 staff while remaining a family-run business.
We are seeking an experienced Spares Consultant to join our fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Sheffield.
About the Role:- To work closely with our Sales Team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer orders for spare parts;
- To provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers;
- To maintain accurate records of stock levels and manage inventory effectively;
- To stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in parts management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately;
- Provide detailed information about available spare parts to customers;
- Recommend alternative solutions when required;
- Maintain accurate records and reports to inform decision-making;
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and plans;
- Attend meetings and training sessions as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role or environment;
- Strong understanding of spare parts management and logistics;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
