We are seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to lead our indirect sourcing efforts, focusing on strategic partnerships and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing indirect categories, with expertise in the pharmaceutical or life science industry.

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering results-oriented solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and implement innovative sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.

Requirements:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life science industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary Estimate:

£90,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
