About the Role

NCR Atleos, a leading provider of financial technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our Engineering organization in Dundee, Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with a talented team of engineers to design and develop innovative electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and document electronic modules and systems, including embedded microprocessor, microcontroller, and FPGA-based PCB assemblies.
  • Electronics Design: Create digital and analogue electronics designs, including schematic capture using Cadence Allegro.
  • Test and Debugging: Create test specifications, reports, and debug hardware to component level.
  • Project Management: Provide estimates of effort, schedule, and size of change to project managers, and support integration and systems testing.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and support existing devices through problem investigation, identification, and resolution.
Requirements
  • Analogue and Digital Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of analogue and digital design principles.
  • USB Devices: Experience with USB devices and design for EMC compliance.
  • Project Management: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide regular progress reports.
