Care Support Specialist

**Job Summary**
Leonard Cheshire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Banstead Road. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes, to promote independence and well-being.
- Escort and assist individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Support our Person-Centred approach by encouraging maximum independence and helping individuals achieve their individual aspirations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure effective care planning and delivery.
**Requirements**
- Minimum of six months' experience as a care worker.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including long days and short days.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Compassionate and caring attitude, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
