Job Title: Build Estimator

Our client, a reputable M&E Contractor/Building contractor based in the North East, is seeking a skilled Build Estimator to join their team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling multiple projects across the North East, Yorkshire, and North West regions, including large hospital projects and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analysis of tender allowances and measurement of works
  2. Valuation of works, valuations, and final accounts
  3. Agreement and submission of valuation dates and interim valuations
  4. Administering and advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
  5. Subcontract and Design Procurement
  6. Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
  7. Submission of Cost Value Reconciliations
  8. Preparation of cost to complete and financial reporting
  9. Cash management and maximisation
  10. Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
  11. Provision of standard reports
  12. Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports
Requirements:
  1. Experience working within the Construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on Design and Build
  2. Sound knowledge of JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract
