Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established firm in the Thornley area. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with machinery and equipment
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless production operations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance staff
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, and BTEC (Apprenticeship) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a production maintenance environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
