English Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious English graduate to join our team as a Graduate English Teaching Assistant at an OUTSTANDING graded Secondary School in Barnet, North London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to gain valuable classroom experience and support the learning of high-achieving pupils in English. As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teachers within the school's English department to provide specialist 1:1 support to students in the lead up to GCSE exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the learning of high-achieving pupils in English
  • Work closely with teachers to provide 1:1 support to students
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Implement pre-set lesson plans to whole classes
  • Provide specialist support to students in the lead up to GCSE exams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 English degree
  • Strong English education background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to commit to the school until the completion of your training
