Job Title:

Ambulance Care Assistant

Description:

We are seeking an Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team. This role will involve supporting service users with challenging behavior and/or mental health illnesses, working alongside the police and other professionals to transport vulnerable individuals between locations, and providing patient care and support in the ambulance.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Assist service users in and out of the ambulance, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  2. Support challenging service users, who may need physical intervention.
  3. Work with the police and other professionals to transport service users to and from healthcare facilities.
  4. Provide patient care and support in the ambulance, including lifting, securing, and helping service users in and out of the vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Full manual UK driving licence.
  • Committed to patient care and the ability to build a rapport with patients.
  • An effective communicator and experience of communicating with others in what can often be emotional and difficult circumstances.
  • Be a calm, considerate, and careful driver, with no more than six penalty points on your license.
