Professional Language Interpreter

As a freelance interpreter and translator, you will be working with Language Empire to provide professional interpreting and translation services to various public and private sectors across the UK.
With our company established in 2001, we offer a wide range of services, including face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreting, as well as translation services. Our team works with hundreds of languages and dialects, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality services.
We are currently recruiting for interpreters and translators with fluency in English and another language. You will be responsible for interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services, ensuring 100% accuracy and confidentiality. Your role will also involve liaising between service users and providers, ensuring a smooth communication process.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages. You must also be aged 21 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
As a self-employed interpreter and translator, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with ongoing support from our dedicated in-house team. You will also have opportunities for continuous professional development and support.
