Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their Worcester Team on a permanent basis. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to £39,186 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To work with adults who have complex or fluctuating needs, using a strengths-based approach to reduce and manage risks.
  • To collaborate with other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach, enabling adults and their carers to live independently.
  • To represent the service, adults, and carers' views at various meetings, exchanging information, making decisions, and reviewing progress.
  • To engage with adults and their carers, identifying available resources to meet their needs.
  • To build effective relationships with other agencies and the local community, signposting when appropriate.
  • To gather and analyze information from various sources to inform decisions.
  • To identify potential deprivation of liberty and ensure the least restrictive means of care provision.
  • To undertake duty responsibilities in line with the team's requirements.
  • To maintain accurate records in accordance with the team's requirements.
  • To meet continuing professional development requirements and stay up-to-date with legislative changes.
  • To maintain personal and professional development, participating in training activities and supporting staff in their development.
  • To undertake other duties, training, and/or hours of work as reasonably required.

Requirements:

  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
  • Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
