About the Role

Camp Beaumont is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Camp Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our day camps, providing exceptional support to our staff and campers, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our day camps, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Develop and implement programs and activities that meet the needs and interests of our campers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of camp operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a childcare or education setting
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams and leading programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of safeguarding awareness and commitment to child protection
  • Paediatric first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/ PGCE) or equivalent
