We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our catering team at Uplands House Care Home in Fareham. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chef in food preparation and cooking.
- Contribute to the daily cleaning regime and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering and storage.
- Participate in weekly/monthly deep cleaning and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including manual handling and fire safety.
- Previous experience in a catering industry, with a focus on deadlines and guidelines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
