About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Resettlement Support Specialist to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our support service, you will play a vital role in empowering clients to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualised support packages to clients, focusing on their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Assist clients with day-to-day tenancy issues, including rent payments, benefits, and preparing units for letting.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve goals, promoting empowerment and independence.
  • Provide practical support and information to clients, including assistance with occupancy agreements and welfare benefit claims.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team, working together to meet client outcome targets and ensure the delivery of a best-practice support service.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups, preferably in a housing or social care setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate IT skills, including Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Riverside.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs and business requirements.
