Help Desk Analyst

The Desktop Support Technician will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of IT services on the technical ICT Service desk, providing skilled IT desktop and Microsoft Office365 application support to end-users. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to laptops, PCs, tablets, and printers. You will work as part of a team to ensure seamless provision of IT services across the Swansea Bay Health Board region.
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum. Benefits include a contributory pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet service level agreements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to think clearly and logically when troubleshooting complex IT issues.
The successful candidate will have experience in implementing and supporting computer systems, software, and networks, with knowledge of operating systems including Windows 10/11. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and printer diagnostics is also required.
