Job Summary

Miller is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join their team. As a leading specialist (re)insurance broking partnership, Miller is a recognised leader in their specialist fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain bespoke actuarial pricing models and analytical frameworks across Marine and non-Marine business lines.
  • Communicate insights from analysis to enhance stakeholder understanding of underlying risk profiles, structure and price optimal risk transfer solutions, and support brokers in negotiating competitive terms from the market.
  • Process, analyse and interpret data from various sources to present analyses and reports to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Refine existing pricing methods and data analysis through the use of software and coding to promote efficiency and drive automation of recurring business as usual practices within the team.
  • Establish trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate the modelling process, results and their significance with them to a high standard, both verbally and through formal reports/presentations.

Requirements

  • Working towards IFOA Actuarial Fellowship qualification, 5-8 exams remaining.
  • Minimum 2 years insurance market experience.
