Role Overview


As a key member of the quality and inspection team, reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of all inter-process and finished manufactured components. Your analytical skills and inspection expertise will be essential in assessing compliance with departmental and organizational KPIs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing component and product conformity to design specifications
  • Ensuring proper calibration of inspection equipment
  • Accurate reporting of KPIs
  • Collecting and reporting daily non-conformance data
  • Conducting quality reporting and investigations as necessary
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace
  • Issuing customer rejection notices when required
  • Preparing Corrective Action Reports as needed
  • Enhancing output and productivity through thorough inspection
  • Minimizing non-conformance rates
  • Reducing unreported non-conformance
  • Decreasing the volume and cost of rework and salvaged components
  • Engaging proactively in lean initiatives
  • Streamlining processes to reduce waiting times for first-off inspections

Candidate Profile:
  • Proficient in using Calypso software
  • Experience in a Quality Engineer role or similar capacity
  • Demonstrates a proactive and positive approach
  • Exhibits strong teamwork skills
  • Reliable with excellent time management
  • Willingness to work additional hours if necessary
