VAT Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced VAT Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a VAT Manager, you will be responsible for providing VAT compliance and advisory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the tax partner to deliver VAT compliance and advisory services
- Liaise with clients regarding VAT matters and serve as their primary point of contact
- Follow up on live VAT leads and take responsibility for growing and developing the workload and team
- Consult on VAT queries and provide expert advice
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong VAT background and ideally experience working in a similar role within a practice environment. VAT professionals from HMRC or industry will be considered, but a desire to work in an accountancy firm is essential. You will also need to have experience managing people and be willing to get involved in business development.
