About The Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our UK GL Accounting team, which plays a vital role in supporting the EMEA region. We are a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants, responsible for the day-to-day accounting tasks, including:




  • Approving month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis;
  • Analyzing monthly and quarterly figures for group consolidation purposes;
  • Managing working capital and producing cash flow forecasts;
  • Supporting tax and compliance teams in preparing VAT returns and local currency statutory reports;
  • Driving the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices;
  • Participating in other ad-hoc accounting projects as needed;


About You

As a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar) with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, you will be a valuable asset to our team. Previous experience with multi-currency accounting and ERP systems (preferably Oracle Cloud) is advantageous.



Key Responsibilities




  • Financial Management: Approve month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis;
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze monthly and quarterly figures for group consolidation purposes;
  • Working Capital Management: Manage working capital and produce cash flow forecasts;
  • Tax and Compliance: Support tax and compliance teams in preparing VAT returns and local currency statutory reports;
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices;
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in other ad-hoc accounting projects as needed;


Requirements




  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar);
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Advantageous prior experience with multi-currency accounting;
  • Advantageous experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud;
