At Glos, we are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Midday Supervisor. This role is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during the lunchtime period, both inside the school and in play areas.
- Encourage children to treat each other with respect and follow the school's behaviour policy and Christian values at all times.
- Perform duties as part of the lunchtime team under the direction of the SLT, including supervision of children throughout the lunchtime break.
- Support safeguarding and behaviour procedures within the school, ensuring procedures are followed at all times, and reporting any issues to the Class Teacher daily.
- Record safeguarding concerns via CPOMS.
- Liaise professionally with all staff within the school at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with children, staff, and parents. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
