About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 driver to join our Transport Team at Booker Retail Partners. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers' stores.

As a Class 2 driver, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple deliveries and ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver stock to independent retailers' stores in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handle multiple deliveries and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work collaboratively with the Transport Team to achieve delivery targets

Requirements

  • Class 2 Licence Holder
  • Driver CPC Holder
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Experience of multi-drop; temperature-controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential
  • Available to work 48 hours a week (overtime available)
