An exciting opportunity has arisen within Whittington Health for an experienced physiotherapist to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of challenging rotations.
Whittington Health is situated in North London and delivers healthcare to the residents of Haringey and Islington, both in the community and through the Whittington Hospital. We have an excellent reputation for being innovative, responsive, and flexible to the changing clinical needs of the local population.
Main Duties of the JobAs an autonomous practitioner, you will assess and treat your own caseload of patients, including those with complex presentations. You will draw on a wide range of information sources and use clinical reasoning skills to determine an accurate diagnosis and identify an appropriate physiotherapy care plan.
You will utilise a wide range of treatment skills in delivering treatment plans, having highly developed physical skills necessary for provision of effective physiotherapy treatment.
You will formulate and deliver physiotherapy treatment programmes in a variety of settings, including community, patients' homes, and as part of a team.

Person SpecificationQualifications
- Holds a recognized degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
- Current HCPC registration
Skills
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a variety of professionals and to patients and their families
- Demonstrable skill in clinical reasoning and problem-solving for complex case management
Knowledge
- Demonstrable previous clinical and work experience at Band 6 or a minimum of Band 5 level in settings relevant to the post
- Demonstrable clinical knowledge of a broad range of diagnoses and conditions in line with the rotational areas of the post
