Carrington West is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join their team in Hungerford. As a key member of the civil engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of drawings, specifications, and reports to support project teams.

You will have a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrable experience in design in accordance with the DMRB and SHW or other internationally recognized design standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the production of drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Designing roads, geometry, surface, and sub-surface drainage
  • Integrating designs to deliver projects
  • Experience of foul and surface water drainage design to British Standards or similar
  • Understanding of key drivers of drainage design
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Competence in AutoCAD and PDS
  • Ability to take responsibility for own work and that of junior engineers
