Job Description:

You will support the kitchen team in ensuring all food is correctly prepared and presented to customers to high standards and quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and follow health and safety rules
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • Prepare café food (brunches and light lunches) with the Kitchen Assistant
  • Stock taking and stock rotation

We require previous experience working as a Cook or Sous Chef in a busy kitchen and working towards a Level 3 in Food Safety or equivalent would be desired. You should also have creativity and passion for food design, preparation, nutrition, and presentation. Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative without ongoing direct supervision are also essential.
