About the Role

As a Digital Marketing Strategist at ENGINEERINGUK, you will have the opportunity to lead the transformation of our paid social media strategy and unlock significant growth potential aligned with our brand strategy and business goals. This role goes beyond campaign execution and involves strategic leadership of our brand and social teams in the UK and regional markets, driving the direction and upskilling of teams, and providing thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with agencies and the brand team to create and manage paid social ads on platforms like TikTok and Meta, with a focus on retargeting and prospecting.
  • Support brand managers in campaign planning and strategic recommendations across markets.
  • Examine campaign performance and offer valuable insights to the brand and media planning teams.
  • Work closely with the brand team and social media managers to guarantee timely campaign delivery while meeting predefined performance targets and expenditure guidelines.
  • Direct and implement the social paid media strategy at scale, driving optimization of channels and social-first content to increase engagement and conversion.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of multiple, large scale complex brand campaigns in multiple organisations specialising in Paid Social and Programmatic Display for a leading consumer brands.
  • A degree in a relevant subject such as Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Management, Business, or Media Studies.
  • An in-depth understanding of the UK social media landscape, including platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
  • Proven success and experience managing and planning paid social campaigns in an agency or client-facing role, with knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Tik Tok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Proficiency in managing and planning campaigns across various paid social platforms, as well as experience in managing display advertising.
  • Experience of working with creative agencies or internal studios to develop best-in-class social campaigns.
  • A solid comprehension of paid social principles and effective strategies.
