About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at NHS Property Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the delivery of excellent patient care by ensuring the maintenance of our healthcare properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner, ensuring operational standards are maintained.
  • Conduct fault finding, minor repairs, or installations, and maintain services and equipment within critical environments.
  • Assess problems to determine the best course of action, communicating technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective site log books at NHS premises, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Requirements:

  • At least one of the following qualifications: BTEC City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, or formal apprenticeship/craft trained equivalent.
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.
  • On-call availability.
  • Desirable to have industry experience.
