We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Bramwith Consulting. As a Procurement Specialist - Food and Beverages, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to deliver value add, cost savings, and mitigate supply chain risk across food and beverage related spend.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and end-to-end direct procurement experience within Food & Beverages / Ingredients / Retail / Fashion / FMCG. You will be able to analyze market trends, devise strategies with the supply base, and ensure sourcing strategies and tender outcomes are maximizing commercial success and value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting tenders, managing supplier performance, and contract management across food and beverage related spend.
  • Analyzing, informing, and awarding / onboarding new suppliers - negotiating on commercials to deliver the best value for the company.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders / suppliers to collaborate and deliver cost savings on food & beverage related spend.
  • Ensuring sourcing strategies and tender outcomes are maximizing commercial success and value.
  • Assessing and mitigating commodity risk, monitoring market trends, and devising strategies with the supply base to reduce issues moving forward.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Strong commercial acumen and end-to-end direct procurement experience within Food & Beverages / Ingredients / Retail / Fashion / FMCG.
  • Strong commercial acumen & negotiation skills, strong communicator, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders / suppliers to influence buy-in.
  • Ability to achieve cost savings against volatile / changing market conditions (commodities).
