Project Engineer - Hydraulics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in hydraulics to join our team at Human Engineering. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects encompassing hydraulic systems, including control system upgrades, crane load protection systems, and hydraulic retrofits/upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out project surveys to ensure accurate project scope and timelines.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of hydraulic projects, including SAT.
  • Support the hydraulics and field service team as required.
  • Prepare technical documents, procedures, work packs, and risk assessments.
  • Lead high-level reviews to ensure project work packs contain all necessary instructions and procedures.
  • Involvement in the build and test of new build/upgrade projects.
  • Prepare certification packs and manuals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems on cranes.
  • Appreciation of electrical/automation & control disciplines.
  • Good technical writing skills and proficient use of MS Office applications.
  • Mechanical or hydraulic apprenticeship (or similar).
  • Level 1 hydraulics training programme.
  • Level 2 hydraulics training programme.

Other relevant positions include Field Service Engineer, Crane Engineer, Flying Squad Technician, Hydraulic Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Technician, Electrical Engineer, Multiskilled Technician, or Multiskilled Service Engineer.
