Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Recycling Operator to join our team at Sibelco's Newhouse Glass Recycling site. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile equipment, carrying out quality control testing, and performing manual tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile equipment, including forklift trucks and loading shovels, to support the recycling process.
  • Conduct quality control testing and reporting to ensure the quality of our products.
  • Perform manual tasks, including auxiliary tasks to the production process and small maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure continuous production and meet quality standards.
  • Put production data into the required IT system and ensure the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Safely operate a variety of mobile equipment and work as part of a multi-skilled team on a rotating shift pattern.
  • Carry out quality control tasks and contribute to the overall success of the recycling process.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate mobile equipment and perform manual tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use IT systems.
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures.
