Pharmacy Technician/Science Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the Aseptic team of the Pharmacy Department, welcoming applications from registered Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing Technicians.

This is a chance to join a multidisciplinary team providing vital treatments to the people of North Cumbria.

Main Duties

The role is diverse and will include:

  • Co-ordination of daily activities.
  • Preparation of aseptically prepared products.
  • Environmental monitoring.
  • Dispensing of outsourced parenteral products.
  • Pre-process checking of assembled trays.
  • In-process checking during preparation.
  • Accuracy checking of dispensed parenteral products.
  • Generating worksheets for aseptically prepared products.
