Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Expert Leader to lead the development of functional safety cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex safety analysis and justification, including Fault Tree analysis and Event Tree Analysis.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Principal Product Safety Engineer and take on a leadership role in developing functional safety cases. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with System Engineers and Human Factors Subject Matter Experts to ensure the highest standards of safety are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team in the development of functional safety cases
  • Undertake complex safety analysis using techniques such as Fault Tree analysis and Event Tree Analysis
  • Produce written function safety justifications
  • Liaise with System Engineers and Human Factors Subject Matter Experts, both internally and externally

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A STEM degree or relevant experience
  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering functional safety cases
  • Complex safety analysis and justification skills
