Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to individuals with mental health needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, families, and carers to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Contribute to the development of others through supervision, mentoring, and education.
  • Participate in reflective practice and evidence-based decision making to improve patient outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with work activities and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and Trust policies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of services through quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or a related field.
  • Experience in community mental health nursing, including assessment, care planning, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
