Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at an Outstanding Primary School in Cambridge. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an academic and creative curriculum to a Year 2 class, promoting a love of learning and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with special educational needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic record
- Experience of teaching in a Primary school setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
