About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Specialist to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our Short Breaks and Supported Living services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to adults with a learning disability and Autism Spectrum disorder.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day support, providing assistance with personal care and promoting choice and control alongside maximising independence.
- Contribute to and create Care and Support plans to ensure effective care is delivered throughout the team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a person-centred approach to care and support.
About You
We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to delivering high-quality care and support. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of adults with a learning disability and Autism Spectrum disorder, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
