Job Summary:

This is a rare opportunity to join the technical sales team of a thriving manufacturing business where you will work alongside a close team of experts and the senior leadership team who will support you to further specialise your skillset and progress your career.

The company is a leading provider of precision engineering and CNC manufacturing services, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products to clients across the UK and globally. Due to extended growth and increased demand for their services, they are looking for an additional Technical Sales Engineer to provide effective support to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with prospective and current clients to understand their technical queries, quotation proposals, and project requirements.
• Work closely with the Business Operations Manager, Directors, and Production Team to ensure all client requirements are met, including providing technical industry expertise to advise on corrections and alterations to project plans.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.

Requirements:

• Technical Sales background with a focus on precision engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
