About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at HURTWOOD LIMITED as a BMS Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the refurbishment of Building Management Systems (BMS) across various sites, including the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out surveys of existing BMS installations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for energy efficiency.
  • Assist with consultancy efforts, including gathering user feedback and understanding organizational policies and strategies.
  • Produce reports on the condition of existing installations and develop specifications for upgrade work.
  • Update electrical panel drawings and engineer graphical interfaces for everyday users within the Niagara framework.
  • Assist with networking requirements for new BMS systems and provide training on analytics tools for energy performance analysis.
  • Prepare quotations for Hurtwood's products and consultancy services and develop customer relationships.
  • Manage and mentor our graduates and undergraduates on apprenticeship schemes to develop their skills within BMS and building services.
Requirements
  • Pre-existing experience within building services and building management systems.
  • Excellent communication and subordinate development skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and understanding of electrical drawing packages.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively in a team environment.
