Tax Compliance and Advisory Services Manager

As a Business Tax Services Manager at Evelyn Partners, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing assistance to Managers and Senior Managers in delivering client work. You will also be involved in special assignments and advisory projects on an ad hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake consultancy work and drive the delivery of advisory and compliance services on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage client accounts and relationships, providing exceptional client service and maintaining regular contact with client teams.
  • Budget and monitor compliance fees, ensuring procedures are followed in accordance with institute and HMRC guidelines.
  • Liaise with senior team members, including Partners and Directors, as required.
  • Appraise and monitor staff performance, providing on-the-job training and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Ensure department KPIs are met, including billing and recovery targets.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tax experience gained within the profession or industry.
  • Technically capable tax adviser who can assist in complex client work.
  • Exemplary organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Starting to gain staff management, mentoring, and supervisory experience.
