About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customer shopping trips in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer shopping trips in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure the van and trays are clean and tidy
  • Load the van as required and check the van for roadworthiness
  • Talk to customers about any changes to their order
  • Take care of products/deliveries as if they were your own
  • Deliver during the customer's time slot
  • Call the customer before arriving at their property if early
  • Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late

Requirements

  • Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to act quickly to respond to changing customer needs
  • Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations
