Compensation Package

A competitive base salary of £42,000 per annum, with excellent opportunities for overtime pay and double time at weekends. Additionally, you will receive paid travel time, call out payments, and a share of the margin made on sales leads.

Job Description

We are seeking an electrically qualified Service Technician to join our Industrial Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading our customers' lifting equipment. Your work will involve troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, consulting with customers on repair and safety-related issues, and completing documentation through your mobile device.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues.
  • Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent and conversant with electrical engineering disciplines.
  • Mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience of maintaining/repairing cranes or industrial equipment as a minimum.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Personable with regular customer contact.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights.
  • Current driving licence.
  • Willingsness to work extra hours and on the On-Call Rota with enhanced premium.
