About the Role

Kirkwood Consulting is seeking an experienced construction trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessments to a wide range of construction delegates across Kent and Essex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Level 1 Health and Safety in the Construction Industry, CITB CSCS Test preparation Seminars, and Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) courses.
  • Embed EL3 to Level 1 Maths Functional Skills in training programs.
  • Conduct face-to-face training sessions across Kent and Essex.
Requirements
  • Hold a formal training qualification, equivalent to a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or Level 4 Certificate of Teaching in the Lifelong Sector (CTLLS).
  • Have GCSE A to C in Maths and English.
  • Have current experience of teaching construction skills within the FE or Employability Sector.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS check.

  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An excellent work ethic with the ability to work under pressure.
Working Arrangements

Training will be face-to-face, with occasional online training requirements.
