Diagnostic Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to support our ultrasound services across Gateshead and Newcastle. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary.

NHS provides leading-edge healthcare services delivered from Community Diagnostic Centres, Community Health Centres, and mobile units. Our services include General and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound offered to patients across the Midlands and South-East on a referred and self-referred basis.

• Conduct ultrasound procedures in accordance with modality-specific clinical guidelines and protocols (aligned with RCR & SOR Standards).
• Support the Clinical Lead and Training Lead as required.
• Collaborate with the Clinic HCA to ensure smooth clinic operations.

About You:

• Hold a minimum of a Postgraduate Diploma in Ultrasound (or equivalent) and be a member of an appropriate professional body with valid registration.
• Possess significant clinical experience as a qualified sonographer, performing a range of procedures including General and Gynaecology.
• Hold a full clean UK driving license and have access to a car.
