Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior to join our client's growing team in Plymouth. As a key member of the audit team, you will lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality service for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
  2. Managing a varied portfolio of clients, building strong, long-term relationships
  3. Reviewing the work of junior auditors and providing guidance and support
  4. Monitoring performance of audit delivery against agreed KPIs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Audit experience gained in a UK accountancy practice (essential)
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of UK audit standards and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
