Profile - PCB Test Engineer

Our client operates mainly as a multi-tier provider in the military and commercial aerospace markets, using both research and development to provide innovative, mission-specific bespoke technological solutions to their customer's most complex problems.

Job Role - PCB Test Engineer

The PCB Test Engineer shall test, fault-find, and identify the repair to be undertaken on a range of products to meet customer commitments in terms of quality and timescales. Ensure forecasted weekly production and service commitments are met to the highest levels of quality control.

Duties - PCB Test Engineer
  1. Responsible for testing and fault-finding production units and PCBs to component level using Test Specifications and circuit diagrams.
  2. Repair and assemble products and be able to carry out soldering to IPC 600 J standard 001.
  3. Provide assistance to Engineering with investigation units.
  4. Provide regular updates to meet the needs of each customer regarding the status of the units.
  5. Program PCBs and devices using Programming Loading Documents.
  6. Perform inspection on all activities as and when required.
Experience/Qualifications - PCB Test Engineer
  1. Electronics biased qualification or equivalent experience.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of electronics and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
