Maintenance Technician

The successful candidate will assist with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant and machinery to best practice standards, ensuring equipment reliability is maximized and production is maintained at the highest possible level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and assist in the correction of plant breakdowns
- Responsible for the repair of plant machinery and the maintenance of plant facilities, tooling, and equipment
- Identify opportunities for improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment
- Provide technical support to supervisors in plant operation
- Assist in the operation of the site to ensure plant availability and production is maintained at the highest possible level
- Committed to achieving plant availability and production targets
- Comply with legislation and company standards
- Perform other duties as reasonably required
- Comply with all company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health, and Safety, and Community

Qualifications:
- Experience in medium to heavy industry
- Knowledge of health and safety
- FLT Licence an advantage
- Welding/fabricating experience and qualifications would be an advantage
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent required
- Electrical qualifications an advantage
