Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our innovative organisation in Totnes.

About the Role:

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting Goods and Processes
    • Inspect incoming goods, production processes, and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Maintain and calibrate inspection tools to guarantee accuracy and precision.
  • Supporting Audits and Compliance
    • Support audits and ensure adherence to ISO13485/MDR standards.
  • Collaborating with Teams and Suppliers
    • Collaborate with teams and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Documenting Results
    • Accurately complete documentation and reports to maintain a high level of transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Experience and Skills
    • At least 2 years' experience in inspection or a similar role.
    • Proficient in using tools such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges.
  • Communication and Computer Skills
    • Strong communication and computer skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Licence Requirements
    • Forklift licence is highly preferred but not mandatory.
