Job Details:
We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client's team in Glasgow. As a key member of the supply chain team, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the flow of products and materials from suppliers to customers.

About the Role:
This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. You will work closely with the supply chain team to analyse supply chain data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the procurement of materials and products from suppliers with strong negotiation skills to secure best prices
* Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels, using data analysis skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, meeting customer demands and expectations
* Prepare and process purchase orders, shipping documents, and other related paperwork efficiently
* Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality of goods, ensuring high customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business needs, driving growth and profitability
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier performance, providing valuable insights for decision-making

Qualifications:
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in working with diverse stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to learn new software quickly

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits including a competitive pension scheme, life assurance, and 25 days annual leave.
