Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the world of IT? We are seeking a curious-minded individual to join our team as an IT Apprentice at Baltic Apprenticeships. As part of this role, you will support staff and pupils with IT queries, assist with classroom equipment, and work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician Qualification.

In this dynamic position, you'll have the opportunity to develop hands-on skills, gain practical experience, and set the stage for a fulfilling IT career. You will be fully immersed in the world of IT, with access to expert training and mentorship to build a long and successful career in the industry.

A typical day in the job may include:
  1. Supporting staff and pupils with IT queries in person, by phone, and email
  2. Assisting with classroom equipment and hardware maintenance
  3. Ensuring network performance is monitored and reporting any issues to the IT team leader
  4. Performing housekeeping duties, such as ensuring school leavers are removed from systems and uploading new starters
  5. Maintaining the PAT Testing register across the campus

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ROLE:
  • £16,546 per annum salary
  • Monday to Friday working hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
